Private van or joiner tour?

A joiner tour sells seats in a shared van from a meet-up point. For a couple or a small group it is cheaper. From 4 people, your own van costs less in total, picks you up at your hotel and runs at your pace.

Joiner price: a typical 8-hour countryside joiner from Alona, ₱1,400 per person with fees and lunch extra, checked 17 Oct 2026.

Good to know before the day

  • Start early. An 8 AM pickup means cooler air at the viewing deck and more time at each stop.

  • Bring pesos in cash. Entrance fees and the lunch cruise are paid at each stop. Small notes help.

  • Keep voices low with the tarsiers. They are nocturnal and sleep through the day. No flash photos.

  • The viewing deck is up a long staircase. Take it slowly with grandparents or small children. Your driver waits at the car park.
